Exploring the idea of how objects of a person’s past are, in some manner, leftovers of the years gone by, I placed personal items that have survived being discarded or given away in a fridge. I was interested in the themes of preservation and utility as well as the way sentimentality and attachment prevent us from ridding ourselves of objects that are no longer of use to us.
